Alexey Arestovich, press secretary of the Kiev delegation in the contact group on resolving the situation in Donbass, voiced the Ukrainian version of the death of a five-year-old boy in the vicinity of Donetsk.
“According to our version, the child died from an explosive device that he found in the yard,” – quotes the words of Arestovich “Gromadskoe radio”.
The Ukrainian representative added that this proves that “the Russian side has occupied our land,” and that it “is throwing dangerous explosive devices there.”
Earlier, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine confirmed the death of a boy as a result of a blast wave and shrapnel wounds in Aleksandrovskoye on 2 April. So far, the investigation has not revealed where the explosive device came from. At the same time, the DPR accuses the Ukrainian security forces of dropping an IED with the help of a drone, on which the child was blown up.
