The police detained a 16-year-old teenager in Kiev; he is suspected of murdering his parents and an 8-year-old brother. This was announced on Tuesday, April 27, at the press service of the Kiev department of the National Police of Ukraine.
It is clarified that a local resident turned to the police the day before. She said that for about three days she could not contact her son, who lives with his wife and children in an apartment on Revutsky Street. An investigative-operational group was sent to this address.
Kiev police chief Andrey Krishchenko said that the bodies of two adults and their young son with traces of violent death were found in the apartment. All three are locals born in 1971, 1979 and 2012.
It was established that the victims’ 16-year-old son was involved in the crime. The entire personnel of the Darnytsia police department was alerted to his search for him.
The teenager was detained. They found a knife with him, which was seized and sent for examination.
According to the police, the suspect, during another conflict with his parents, first stabbed them, and then killed his brother. He spent several more days in the apartment with the victims, and when they began to search for his parents, he decided to run away.
On this fact, a criminal case was opened under the article “premeditated murder.”
Earlier, on March 4, it became known that a teenager from the Perm Territory confessed to the murder of his father, mother and little sister, explaining everything by family conflicts. On the same day he was taken into custody. The suspect faces up to ten years in prison in an educational colony under Art. 105 h. 2 and several paragraphs of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
