The Kalininsky District Court of Cheboksary has extended the detention of a 23-year-old blogger by 72 hours, who is suspected of cooking sausages on the Eternal Flame in Victory Park.

The name of the suspect who posted the video on social media has not been officially announced. However, the local newspaper “Pro City” found out that it could be tattoo artist Denis Nikolaev.

The young man was detained on October 22. The court extended the term because 48 hours from the date of the initial detention had expired. On the fact of the incident, the investigators opened a case under Part 2 of Art. 214 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on vandalism committed by a group of persons.

Previously, a video was posted on Instagram in which several people were frying sausages on the Eternal Flame to Timati’s song “Khavchik” and laughed.
