In the Barguzinsky district of Buryatia, local officials, without bidding, entered into a land lease agreement with an individual. As a result, everything reached the prosecutor’s office. Details are reported by the press service of the republican department.
The agreement was signed in November 2020 by the regional committee of property relations. It was about a plot in the village of Ina. The prosecutor’s office emphasizes that the papers did not contain grounds for providing a land plot for lease without bidding. Consequently, the Land Code of the Russian Federation was violated.
The district prosecutor made a presentation to the head of the municipality. As a result, the official was disciplined and the illegal lease was terminated.
