In Bashkortostan, district commissioner police captain Konstantin Korolkov rescued an 86-year-old woman from a fire in a store located on the first floor of a residential building. This was reported on Friday, February 26, by the MIA MEDIA.
At the moment, the life of the pensioner is not in danger.
A message about a fire in a building on Lenin Street was received by the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Belebeevsky District. Smoke began to rise to the upper floors of the building. Korolkov arrived at the scene and was informed about the possible whereabouts of the pensioner in one of the apartments.
The district police officer together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations rang the bell, however, no one opened them. Having decided to open the door, Korolkov entered the room and found an 86-year-old woman unconscious. He carried the woman out into the street where the doctors were.
Members of the Public Council of the Police Department of the Belebeevsky Department appreciated the act of Korolkov. In the near future the awarding ceremony will take place.
It is also reported that the preliminary cause of the fire could have been a wiring fault.
Earlier, on February 23, an officer in the Sverdlovsk region rescued two teenagers from a fire in a residential building. The commander of the communications platoon of the Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Central Military District, Lieutenant Maxim Kramarenko, said that he was on his way to service from lunch in a taxi when he saw smoke in the depths of the summer cottage village.
Through the window, he pulled two girls, 14 and 16 years old, out of the burning house, their mother and grandmother by that time had managed to get out of the house on their own. Neighbors later told the women about the young soldier who first came to the rescue and saved the children.
