In Kazan, it was decided to dismantle five more illegal kiosks and two garages. The order to demolish the stalls was signed by the deputy head of the city’s executive committee, Ildar Shakirov, and the garages – by the head of the Soviet district, Roman Fatkhutdinov.

The stalls are located on the streets of Maksimov, Akademik Zavoisky, Belomorskaya and on Pobedy Avenue. The owners must remove them themselves by May 4th. Starting from the next day, the authorities can forcibly dismantle the kiosks, writes InKazan.ru.

At the moment, it has been possible to identify the owner of only one of the illegal objects.

As for garages, their owners are given a longer period for self-demolition – until May 10. The forced dismantling will also start the next day and will last until June 30 of this year. The facilities are located on Prospect Pobedy, 146 and Akademika Sakharov, 1.

Earlier in April, it was reported that in Kazan in 2021 they intend to allocate more than 2.3 billion rubles for improvement. The funds will be distributed between the Committee for External Improvement, the Committee for Housing and Communal Services, the Department for the Organization of Funeral Services and the district administrations of the city.
