Igor Dodon got 10% more votes than Maia Sandu

Igor Dodon and Maia Sandu will meet in the second round of the presidential election. During today’s vote, the head of state received 10% more votes than the PDS candidate. These are the data of a poll carried out on the day of the presidential election. According to a study conducted by phone, 40.3% of citizens voted for Igor Dodon, who agreed to answer the question: for whom they voted. PDS candidate Maia Sandu received 30.4% of the vote. The third place is taken by the Mayor of Balti Renato Usatii with 12.4%, and the fourth is Violetta Ivanov with 7.8%.

6.4% voted for Platform DA candidate Andrei Năstase, and 1.4% voted for unionist Octavian Cicu. Dorin Chirtoaca and Tudor Deliu receive less than 1% of the vote.

The poll was carried out by the Intellect Group and the SPERO Association. It was attended by 3 600 people from the Republic of Moldova, USA, Canada, EU countries and Russia, as well as residents of the Left Bank. The margin of error is 3% with a confidence level of 95%.
