The Korean company Hyundai will release a new crossover, which received the in-plant name AX1. The model will be the smallest crossover in the brand’s lineup. Reported by TheKoreanCarBlog.

The car will be offered in the countries of Southeast Asia, but it is possible that the crossover will become a global car and reach other regions.

According to the newspaper, the line of engines will include three-cylinder 1.0- and 1.2-liter gasoline engines, capable of working in tandem with a mechanical or robotic transmission.

The list of standard equipment will include front airbags, ABS and brake force distribution, rear parking sensors, and an auto-dimming interior mirror.

On February 10, it was reported that Hyundai showed off the Tiger X-1 concept, which is a walking convertible vehicle capable of navigating difficult terrain. As conceived by the developers, such a device could, for example, conduct research activities not only on Earth, but also on other planets, as well as on the Moon.
