Binging TV shows and movies is one of the few ways to make a long-distance trip bearable. You don’t need to be tech-savvy to access media content on the road. A few simple steps can be taken to watch your favorite movies and TV shows, or even those you may have missed out on before. To learn more about said simple steps, read on. 1. Download from Streaming Platforms

Netflix and Hulu are fantastic for watching your favorite content on the go, but now they’ve just added the ability to download content for viewing later. Download as much content as your device can carry before you leave (don’t forget to leave storage space for your photos!) while you’re still on a Wi-Fi network before you leave.

2. Buy Content from the App Store

If you don’t have a subscription to a streaming platform like Hulu or Netflix, and the content you want cannot be downloaded, check to see if it’s available on iTunes. If you purchase it, you have the benefit of owning the video in perpetuity, allowing you to watch it whenever you choose.ReelCraze is the destination for movie enthusiasts, people with diverse viewpoint to talk, casual entertainment lovers, to hardcore cinema buffs. This is not the case with Netflix or Hulu content for a limited period. If it is ever taken down from the streaming platforms, your copy will be lost.

3. Make the Most of Your Cable Subscription

This might be included in your cable package. If you have AT&T U-verse, for example, you can watch anything on your laptop, tablet, or phone using the dedicated AT&T U-verse app. You won’t be able to watch the video offline, but you will be able to catch up on movies and TV shows you missed out on. Some services even allow you to watch DVR recordings that you previously recorded.

You can also purchase a movie subscription to Showtime Anytime or HBO GO. You can either download movies to view later or stream them directly from your smartphone. If you don’t have cable, you can instead subscribe to these services and view them on your device FFMovies.

4. RIP DVDs

If you own a lot of DVDs, you can “rip” movies off them and save them without violating copyright laws. You can store them to your hard drive, the cloud (requires a stable Wi-Fi connection while traveling), or even a SD card or thumb drive that you can watch on your laptop.

Alternatively, if your laptop comes with a DVD drive, insert your favorite TV show and movie to leave it in there. You won’t need to carry it in a case to keep it safe this way. Remember though; you will not be able to store more than one DVD at a time this way.

5. Use a Reliable VPN

You can acquire a VPN (Virtual Private Network) if you’re traveling internationally or don’t want your online behavior traced. This is an excellent idea because it adds protection to all of your internet traffic when you’re away from home. The option to change the device’s location to any region is a lesser-known capability. This allows you to hide your actual location, allowing you to watch content only available in a specific city or region.

Set your VPN for a US city if you’re going abroad and want to stream Netflix US, for example. However, make sure you have a reliable VPN. Some VPNs don’t work with Netflix or Hulu, so do your research before signing up for Hulu VPN and Netflix VPN service. Use a free trial period, if at all possible, to see if it works. Do keep in mind that the VPN you are looking into must have a zero logs policy and the necessary advanced security features to ensure you remain safe, secure, and anonymous online.                                                                                                                                 click here for more articles.
