Harry and Meghan pay virtual tribute to Prince Philip royalty

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle paid tribute to Prince Philip, who died on Friday, on the site of their organization Archewell, as speculation rises about the couple’s presence at the funeral in the UK.

A dark background with a single message standing out in white letters: “In memory of His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh, 1921-2021”, was visible on Friday on the site of Archewell, the charity and production organization audiovisual company founded by the couple last year.

“Thank you for your dedication … you will be sorely missed,” also indicated the virtual tribute to Prince Harry’s grandfather.

Prince Philip, who passed away peacefully at the age of 99 in Windsor Castle, near London, in 2009 broke the record for the longevity of the spouses of British monarchs, until then held by Charlotte, wife of George III.

The announcement of his death sparked much speculation in the press about the presence of Prince Harry, who now lives in Los Angeles with his wife Meghan Markle, at the funeral in the United Kingdom.
