The German government intends to ease the quarantine conditions for those vaccinated and ill with COVID-19, a draft order has been adopted, official representative of the German Cabinet of Ministers Steffen Seibert said at a briefing.
“The German government has passed the draft decree to the representatives of the Bundestag and the federal states. If it is approved, the Bundestag and the Bundesrat can take a decision on it this week,” Seibert said.
According to Bild, vaccinated and ill will be allowed to meet with each other without hindrance. They will not need to provide coronavirus test results when visiting stores and establishments, nor will they have to quarantine when returning from countries that are considered to be at high risk of infection. The order may come into effect next weekend.
