Ugur Sahin, founder and CEO of Biontech, a pharmaceutical company based in Mainz, believes the country is likely to face another tough quarantine this summer. “We should wait and see if the numbers decrease due to warming and the coming summer,” Shahin said in an interview with RTL.

“If we don’t understand that the trend is turning down, we will have to re-enter lockdown.” Sahin adds: “Unfortunately, the number of infected in Europe, as well as in Germany, is so high that we cannot wait long and postpone the introduction of radical measures,” the expert summed up.
