The strict quarantine in Germany with radical restrictive measures, currently imposed until the end of January, will be extended. Federal Minister of Health Jens Spahn is preparing German citizens for the need to extend the response to the pandemic.
The federal government’s goal is to do everything it can to reduce the number of people infected and prevent the spread of the mutated variant of the coronavirus. Additional measures that will be introduced are restrictions on entry, mandatory testing and genome research.
“We must do everything so that the mutated version of the virus spreads as little as possible across Germany and continental Europe,” said the Federal Minister of Health. According to the politician, social contacts will need to be reduced even more. This restriction will be in effect for the next two to three months. “We see that the people of the country are more mobile than during the first wave,” says Spahn. Therefore, he never ceases to ask employers wherever he can enter a home office.

Germany: in which lands since January 11, there is a measure of limiting the radius of movement
Germany: the number of deaths is several times higher than in previous years
