On April 26, a special fire-prevention regime began to operate on the territory of Tatarstan. The Deputy Chief State Inspector of the Republic for Fire Supervision Maxim Truschin reminded the Tatarstan people of the corresponding prohibitions.
He noted that during this period the burning of dry grass and garbage, and the making of fires on peat soils and burnt barbecues is prohibited. It is also forbidden to cook food on coals and open fires in and around forests. It is allowed to cook barbecue in the country house only in calm weather and provided that the barbecue is installed no closer than six meters from the house and other buildings. A prerequisite for this is a bucket of water placed near the barbecue.
In addition, pyrotechnics and Chinese lanterns cannot be launched until the end of the fire regime on May 16.
