According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), over the past day in Germany, the number of newly infected people has increased by 8 354, which is less compared to the previous day (9,860)… Over the past 24 hours, the number of deaths has increased by 551. Currently 3,552 the patient is in intensive care. To date, more than 2.5 million people across Germany have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
As of Saturday, February 13, since the beginning of the collection of official statistical information on the coronavirus, 2,328,447 cases of infection have been recorded in the country. The total number of deaths from Covid-19 to date is 64,742. Not all authorities release their data on weekends, so actual numbers may be higher.
The seven-day incidence for Germany is 60.1 This figure shows how many people per 100,000 inhabitants have been infected in the last seven days. The recommended incidence rate is 50, when the infectious situation is considered controlled and all infected can be monitored.
It is estimated that there are approximately 152,000 active cases, that is, people currently infected. This figure is not officially recorded by the Robert Koch Institute. However, as in other countries, it is determined by subtracting the number of deaths (64 742) and the estimated 2 112 000 recovered from all ever infected (2 328 447).
According to the Intensive Care Register, 3,552 people are currently being treated for Covid-19 in intensive care units (as of February 12).
