Traditionally, on the eve of Easter in the regions of the Russian Federation, prices for chicken eggs are growing. To resolve the situation in the Astrakhan region, eggs will be sold directly from poultry farms.
According to the regional statistical office, chicken eggs in the Astrakhan region have risen in price by 35% compared to last year – up to 83 rubles per ten.
Before the main Orthodox holiday, Astrakhan residents will be able to buy the main element of the Easter meal without any extra charge, immediately from suppliers. The sale of eggs will be organized at the Tatar-Bazar market on Svoboda Square, as well as at fairs at 21 Savushkina Street and Vorobyov Passage, Building 12. Here you can buy a dozen C1 eggs for 69 rubles.
The heads of the regional offices of large retail chains will also consider the possibility of selling eggs for a promotion.
As MK in Volgograd previously wrote, now in the regions a slowdown in the growth of prices for chicken eggs is recorded.
