In total, 73 693 preferential mortgage loans were issued in the Northwestern Federal District over the year. This was reported by MK in Murmansk by the Murmansk Region Regional Management Center with reference to the Government of the Russian Federation.

Since the start of the preferential mortgage program at 6.5%, banks have issued almost 450 thousand loans for 1.337 trillion rubles.
The geography of preferential mortgages is the widest; residents of 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation have become participants in the program. The most popular preferential mortgage has become in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Moscow Region, Krasnodar Territory, Sverdlovsk Region, Tyumen Region, Rostov Region, Republic of Tatarstan, Republic of Bashkortostan, Novosibirsk Region.
The preferential mortgage program has proven to be very popular in almost all regions of the country. Today, the Ministry of Construction is working with the Central Bank to develop further solutions for preferential mortgage programs.
