In Minsk, 28-year-old Nikita Krivtsov, who disappeared on August 12, was found dead. This was reported by the search engines of the “Angel” detachment, as well as the publication “Nasha Niva” with reference to the wife of the deceased.

In the VKontakte social network, the volunteers said that on August 12 the man went to Zhodino and did not get in touch again. Several media outlets suggested that he might have been detained at the protests. However, there is no evidence that he participated in the protests or did not. The family went to the pre-trial detention center and the police in search of Krivtsov among the detainees, but did not find him.

The police recognized the man as missing. On August 22 he was found dead in the forest in the Partizansky district of Minsk.

“Nikita Sergeevich Krivtsov … found. Killed. We express our condolences to the family and friends, ”the message from the Angel detachment says.

The Mlyn.by portal reported that the man was found hanged. Moreover, unlike previous media reports, it is said that no bodily harm was found on the deceased.

In Belarus, since August 9, protests have not ceased due to dissatisfaction with the results of the presidential elections. According to the Central Election Commission, Alexander Lukashenko won for the sixth time in a row, while opposition candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya gained about 10%. The opposition did not agree with the results. During the clashes with the police at the rallies, several dozen people were injured, and, according to official figures, three were killed.
