In Mari El, convicts transferred to IK-3 from another institution were immediately provided not only with sleeping places, but also with jobs.
Recall that the general regime colony No. 5 in the village of Yasny Sovetsky District was liquidated. The convicts were transferred from here to Medvedev IK-3 (which changed the regime from strict to general). Its former contingent was relocated to a quarter colony in the village of Lesnoy.
Part of the inhabitants of the “troika” worked – a team of assemblers of electrical products worked here. The same plot is open to them in a new location. And the new residents of IK-3, transferred from IK-5, are now also learning to assemble electrical outlets.
The first lessons of professional skill were conducted for them by production engineers from the Kozmodemyansk enterprise “Potential”, which is the customer for the assembly of products. Now 47 people work. With the growth of their qualifications, the range of products will expand, according to the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Mari El. Ideally, you need to reach the capacity of last year, when 67 workers produced products for 15.5 million rubles.
