US President Joe Biden will sign a series of executive orders aimed at restoring America’s “place in the world.” This was announced on February 4 by the press service of the White House.

“President Biden is taking additional actions to reaffirm our values on the global stage, restore clarity and leadership in the way America conducts its foreign policy, support and empower national security professionals, <...> to create modern forces in areas of national security that look like the country they serve, ”the statement reads.

In particular, we are talking about a memorandum memorandum on the structure of the National Security Council (SNB) at the White House. It is argued that the new structure of the NSS will “reflect the cross-cutting nature” of the challenge facing the United States through greater involvement of officials dealing with domestic political issues. Biden will also sign a memorandum aimed at modernizing the recruitment system for national security personnel.

The White House stressed that the new US administration “puts diplomacy back at the center of US foreign policy.”

Earlier in the day, Biden, during a speech at the State Department, called China the main competitor of the United States. In addition, during his speech, Biden said that the United States is faced with Russia’s determination to harm American leadership.
