US President Joe Biden said on Tuesday that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo should step down if the sexual harassment charges against him were upheld.

If the investigation confirms the women’s claims against him, should he resign? “Yes,” replied the tenant of the White House.
“I think he will then probably also be prosecuted,” he added.
Eight women have since February denounced Mr. Cuomo’s inappropriate gestures and words, including a former employee who accused him of putting his hand under his blouse in 2020.
Denouncing “false” allegations, Andrew Cuomo, 63, ten of whom head the influential New York State, refuses to give in to calls for resignation. He again asked Friday to wait for the results of the investigations opened after these revelations.
