US President Joe Biden said in a speech at the White House on March 2 that he hoped to bring the country back to life, which was before the coronavirus pandemic, next spring.
Biden noted that the country is now “making progress from the inherited disorder,” but the situation could worsen again.
“Now is not the time to lose vigilance,” TASS reports.
Earlier, on March 1, the press secretary of the US President Jane Psaki said that the country does not plan to share coronavirus vaccines with other states until all Americans are vaccinated. However, later that day, Biden announced that he was discussing the issue of sending American vaccines for COVID-19 to Mexico with President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
On February 24, Biden extended the emergency regime due to the spread of coronavirus infection in the country. He noted that due to the fact that more than 500 thousand people died from it in the United States, “it is extremely important to continue to fight and respond to COVID-19 with the use of all the capabilities of the federal government.”
