Democratic presidential candidate Joseph Biden is 16 percentage points (pp) more popular than his rival, incumbent President Donald Trump. This is evidenced by the results of a public poll published on Tuesday, carried out by the SSRS service at the request of the television company CNN.
According to the survey, 57% of those polled expressed their willingness to vote for Biden if the general elections were held now. 41% of Americans would support the incumbent head of the White House. The Democrat’s margin was 16 percentage points. About 2% of the respondents said they do not intend to support any of the politicians.
The last poll took place in mid-August, when Biden was ahead of Trump in popularity by 8 pp.
