AvtoVAZ will again raise prices for its cars

Russian automaker AvtoVAZ will raise recommended retail prices for new Lada cars. This will happen on March 15th.

As Lada Online reports on March 11, this will be the second increase in prices for Lada cars this year. The increase in price will be 11 thousand – 20 thousand rubles.

In particular, the Lada Granta model will rise in price by 11 thousand rubles, the Largus station wagon will rise in price by 14 thousand rubles, and the three-door version of Lada Niva Legend – by 8 thousand rubles. Most of all, Lada Vesta will rise in price – by 20 thousand rubles.

The first price increase for Lada cars in 2021 was in January. Then the increase in price was about 2-5%.

On January 12, it was reported that AvtoVAZ sold 393,806 vehicles in the Russian and foreign markets in 2020, which is 5.2% less than in 2019.

The market share of the Lada brand in Russia is 21.5%. At the same time, Lada Granta and Lada Vesta remain the best-selling models in the Russian market.
