AvtoVAZ has increased the cost of its cars

The Russian automaker AvtoVAZ has raised prices for the entire model range since May 1. The increase ranged from 9 thousand to 30 thousand rubles. This is reported by Auto.ru.

In particular, the most popular family – Lada Granta – became 9-19 thousand rubles more expensive in sedan, liftback, hatchback and station wagon bodies.

The sedans Lada Vesta and Vesta Cross, as well as the CNG version, added 20 thousand rubles in price. Lada Vesta SW and Lada Vesta SW Cross station wagons cost 25 thousand more from May 1. At the same time, the most expensive version in the Vesta family has risen in price – by 30 thousand rubles.

Cars of the Lada Largus family have risen in price by 20 thousand rubles. The three-door Lada Niva Legend SUVs cost 12 thousand rubles more than before.

On April 2, it was reported that in March of this year, 33,779 Lada passenger and light commercial vehicles were sold in Russia, which is 3% more than in the same period of 2020.

The best-selling Lada car in March was Lada Granta. The Russians purchased 12,686 of these machines. Lada Vesta sales amounted to 8779 cars. The third place is taken by Lada Largus with a result of 3888 vehicles (cumulative results of sales of passenger station wagons and vans).
