In the Rutulsky district of Dagestan, an avalanche came down and blocked the roads to nine settlements. This was announced on Sunday, March 21, at the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“An avalanche came down on the outskirts of the Tsakhur village of the Rutul region. Nine settlements were left without road communication: Syugut, Muslah, Mishlesh, Korsh, Dzhinnykh, Ottal, Kalal, Mukhakh, Kusur, ”the message says.
As noted, in the blocked settlements there are 779 houses in which 3,899 people live, including 976 children.
There were no destructions, casualties or injuries as a result of the accident.
On March 16, it was reported that the Kamchatka avalanche control center warned residents about the increased danger of avalanches from the slopes of volcanoes and hills.
