In the Nizhny Novgorod region, they will try to open all existing beaches in the coming summer season. Corresponding efforts will be made by the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia in the region, said the head of the department Valery Sinkov at a press conference, reports IA NewsNN on April 22.
“Last year, out of 46 beaches, only 22 were opened. This year we will not allow that. We will try to open everything that is possible, ”said the head of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to Sinkov, he has already asked the mayor of the regional capital to restore the beach on the Grebnoy Canal, where improvements are now underway. “It will be a good gift for all residents,” he said.
According to news agency NewsNN, in the summer of last year on the territory of Nizhny Novgorod there was a ban on visiting public beaches and recreation areas. This decision was made due to the coronavirus pandemic.
At the end of last year, the Russian Emergencies Ministry promised to study the possibility of equipping beaches for recreation with pets. According to current regulations, it is prohibited to bring animals with you to the beach, with the exception of guide dogs.
