The central region of the Iraqi province of Babil came under an air attack, Al Mayadeen reported on January 19.
It is noted that the attack was carried out near the city of Jurf en Nasr. This territory, according to journalists, is under the control of the Iraqi armed forces.
At the same time, according to the Al Arabiya TV channel, south-west of Baghdad, not far from Jurf al-Nasr, three explosions were heard at the positions of the pro-Iranian Shiite movement Hezbollah. It is known that Iraqi troops were not injured in the attack.
In turn, the US Central Command denies that it is aware of the air strikes against Iraq, the channel’s sources added.
