The Russian airline Aeroflot is ready to exchange tickets for Cyprus at no additional charge or refund the money for them. On April 24, the press service of the carrier told about this.

From April 26 to May 9, a tough lockdown will be in force in Cyprus due to the worsening situation with the coronavirus. Cafes and shops will stop working on the island, in addition, a curfew will be introduced.

Aeroflot offered passengers with tickets Moscow-Larnaca / Paphos and St. Petersburg-Larnaca with a departure date from April 26 to May 16 to change the departure date once to any time until the end of 2021 without additional payments or receive a full refund for tickets.

It is noted that the airline will continue to operate flights to Larnaca in the same volume – one flight per day.

Rossiya Airlines will continue to operate three weekly flights on the route St. Petersburg – Larnaca, TASS specifies.

According to the Cypriot Ministry of Health, a British strain of coronavirus is widespread on the island, which is highly infectious.
