“Cossacks, Cossacks!
Drive-drive in Berlin
Our Cossacks … “
Which of us living in Berlin does not have a warm heart from the words of this song? Horses from the Don, a blue-eyed Cossack woman and our brave soldiers who conquered Life from Death in 1945.
We, representatives of the public organization “Officers of Russia”, a branch in Germany, congratulate our dear and beloved grandfathers and grandmothers – veterans of the Great Patriotic War on the upcoming holidays!
Be healthy, our glorious heroes! Take care of yourself, walk more often, dress warmer! May your children and grandchildren be always there! May it be warm in your homes, and joyful and calm in your hearts! We remember you, dear veterans, and we will be eternally grateful for your feat!
Dear friends!
New Year’s holidays are approaching. You yourself know how difficult this year 2020 has been for everyone! But it became an especially difficult test for the older generation. In this regard, we will organize a fundraiser to support our veteran heroes and invite you to take part in the preparation of New Year’s gifts as much as possible!
Warm winter sweaters, duvets, mittens and scarves will go from you to those who were once freezing, starving and with their own lives won for us the right to be strong, beautiful and happy today! Once upon a time, it was our grandparents who protected this world. And today we can protect them! Well, at least we can become a little wizards for them and bring gifts under the tree.

Join, dear friends! Let’s hurry up to do warm things! In addition, our Public Organization wants to support an amazing person, Mikhail Zinoviev and his publishing project “The Last Heroes about the War.” Mikhail travels around the country and collects stories of Heroes of the Soviet Union and full holders of the Orders of Glory. Two volumes have already been published. A new book is now being prepared for printing. The Last Heroes About War project is not statistics with its dry numbers and dates! These are touching memories of people who fought, loved, lost loved ones and dreamed of peace.
For example, one of the heroines of Mikhail’s new book is Alexandra Petrovna Leshchuk from Leningrad. Today she is 94 years old, but she remembers very well how she worked as a miner-soldier of the 217th detachment in the frozen besieged Leningrad. He remembers a ration of 125 grams of sawdust bread and remembers an empty soup, once made from a killed pigeon …

The project is also carried out with the support of the community. AI Glinka and the “Dialogue” club.
