In the Chegem gorge of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, a resident of Pyatigorsk died while jumping from a mountainside with a rope. This was announced on Saturday, May 1, by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for the region.
“According to preliminary data, on May 1, at about 15:00, a message was received that during the provision of services for jumping from a cliff on an attraction, the organizers did not calculate the length of the rope, and during the jump the girl hit the rocks and died,” the message says.
It is noted that investigators are conducting an inspection on the fact of the death of a tourist, all the circumstances of the incident are being clarified, and a forensic medical examination of the body of the deceased is scheduled.
On April 14, a tourist from Novosibirsk died after being injured while descending a tubing at a resort in the Kemerovo region. It is known that the woman’s acquaintance lost sight of her and turned to the workers of the complex for help. They found an unconscious tourist outside the track near a metal building.
