Experts at hh.ru, a job and employee search site, analyzed changes in the labor market in the Yaroslavl region in August and compared the situation with the previous month, as well as with the same period last year.
According to the hh.ru vacancy database, 11% more vacancies were opened in the Yaroslavl region in August 2020 than a month earlier. At the same time, in comparison with August 2019, the number of open vacancies increased by 8%. The growth of the resume for the month was 1%. And relative to August 2019, the increase in resume was 17%.
Five people apply for one vacancy in the region, which indicates a moderate level of competition in favor of the employer. Of the industries of companies that most often publish vacancies in August, the leaders are Sales (28%), Workers (17%), Manufacturing (15%), Construction, Real Estate (10%) and Transport, logistics “(8%).
If we talk about job seekers from the Yaroslavl region, then most often in August they were looking for work in the professional areas “Career start, students” (this includes 20% of August CVs), “Sales” (15%), “Administrative staff” (7%), “Transport, logistics” (7%) and “Production” (7%). The lowest competition among job seekers in August was observed in the areas of “Installation and Service”, “Consulting”, “Workers” – about one posted resume for an open vacancy.
Among the professional spheres in the first place in terms of the complexity of employment in August were specialists in the areas of “Top management”, “Career start, students”, “Lawyers”.
In August 2020, the average salary offered in the Yaroslavl region was RUB 37,675, which is about 16% lower than the Russian average. The average expected pay in the region is approximately at the level of the proposed one – 37,163 rubles.
