A criminal case was opened after the disappearance of a ten-year-old girl in the Podnizhny farm in the Volgograd region. This was announced on Thursday, November 5, by the press service of the regional SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
On the night of November 4-5, a resident of the Podnizhny farm of the Kletsky district turned to the police. She stated that her 10-year-old daughter was missing, the mother discovered the absence of the child at home only by midnight. The woman clarified that the child left the place of residence on his own.
“Due to the fact that the disappearance of the child is sudden, and the initial search measures did not yield positive results, the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Volgograd Region opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under paragraph“ c ”of Part 2 of Article 105 Of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of a minor), ”the message says.
Now large-scale search events are organized in the Podnizhny farm. They are attended by police officers, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Rosgvardia, volunteers, and local residents.
Earlier that day, Investigators opened a criminal case into the unknown disappearance of an eight-year-old child in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The child disappeared on Tuesday, November 3, near Krasnaya Sopka Street, when he left home and never returned. The search was carried out by police officers together with volunteers. The boy’s body was found in the non-residential area of the Seaport with injuries, presumably from animal bites.
