A 19-year-old resident of Maksatikha, Tver Region, mistook his neighbor’s house as empty and decided to enter it. The incident was reported to the Russian MIA Administration for the Tver region.

So, a young man went to visit his relatives (and they live not far from the victim’s house), and then he was interested in the castle at the entrance to the apartment. And the man himself lives on the next street with the victim. The thief thought that since the lock was hanging, then no one lived in the apartment, and decided to go there, breaking the padlock.

In the apartment, the man noticed a laptop for 14 thousand, took it under his jacket and went. And hung the lock in place. Only the victim’s sister quickly returned to the apartment – then she did not notice the laptop, but only wet footprints.

The police quickly detained the suspect and opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The laptop, sold by the 19-year-old thief for three thousand, was returned to the owner. The defendant was chosen a preventive measure in the form of a recognizance not to leave the place.
