According to the Tula Regional Ministry of Health, Sergei Ovechko has been appointed the chief physician of the Uzlovskaya regional hospital. He took up his duties the day before, April 20.
The medic was born in the city of Sevastopol in 1972, graduated from the pediatric faculty of the Crimean Medical Institute, underwent advanced training at the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation under the program “Health Organization and Public Health”. He worked in executive positions in medical organizations in Sevastopol and Moscow.
“Sergei Leonidovich has experience of work in primary care and institutions providing specialized medical care, in particular, oncological. Has the necessary experience in clinical and expert work, organization and control of clinical examination of the attached population, the necessary management skills “, – said the Deputy Minister of Health Mikhail Malishevsky.
