A polar bear was rescued from the Bolshevik Island of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
A bear cub rescued in the Krasnoyarsk Territory is being rehabilitated at the Moscow Zoo, RIA Novosti reports.
The white bear nailed to the gold miners on the Bolshevik Island. In obtaining food, he relied entirely on people, since he himself did not know how to hunt.
An emergency meeting of the interdepartmental working group of Rosprirodnadzor was convened, at which experts decided to remove the bear cub from the wild and transfer it to rehabilitation.
As explained at the zoo, such stories often end badly. According to the message, they decided to take this forced measure to save the cub.
In a short time, the bear was taken to Moscow. He has been in the zoo for a week already, the animal has already mastered the interior of the Polar World pavilion. The bear eats with appetite and plays with joy, they said at the zoo.
The zoo will adapt the bear to an outdoor enclosure with a pool and gravel bath.
