Dead skin cells push themselves to the surface of the skin and shed naturally as time passes, but in the event that the cells don’t shed on their own in a natural manner, dead skin cells build up and this can result in a patch of dead skin that will look anything but smooth and shiny.

In order to avoid this from happening to you, and for your overall skin’s well-being, it is necessary from time to time to take matters into your own hands. That means removing the dead skin cells with some form of natural or chemical skin treatment.

There are many ways this can be done. I’ll start with the more simple ways and move on to the ways that can be more difficult and invasive.
