The Russian government will allocate 17 billion rubles to modernize the infectious diseases service. This is stated in the draft resolution of the Federation Council on the basis of the “government hour” with the participation of the head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko on Wednesday, January 20.
The Federation Council noted that in order to timely detect and limit the spread of coronavirus infection in the country, citizens are being tested for COVID-19, and the population is being vaccinated.
In addition, in the shortest possible time in the subjects of the country, the bed capacity for patients with COVID-19 was increased, and medical organizations were equipped with the necessary equipment. The industry has fully met the needs of the health care system in medicines and medical products, writes RIA Novosti.
Earlier on Wednesday, Murashko said that the critical moments with the supply of medicines, which were observed last fall, have been successfully overcome.
The head of the department noted that the situation requires mandatory control and settlement in case of problems.
