Over the past day, 1,043 people have been cured of the coronavirus in Moscow. This was announced on Tuesday, August 11, by the vice-mayor of the capital, Anastasia Rakova.

“The total number of people who have recovered from the infection has increased to 191,598,” the official said.

On the eve of the mayor of the city, Sergei Sobyanin, said that about 60% of patients with coronavirus infection or pneumonia in Moscow are asymptomatic. He noted that this figure is significantly higher than in the regions, and is explained by the fact that a large volume of testing has been organized in the capital, including the PCR and PFA tests.

According to the website stopkoronavirus.rf, 248,228 cases of coronavirus were detected in Moscow. In the capital, the third stage of lifting restrictions imposed amid the pandemic is now in effect. In particular, wearing masks and gloves in public places and transport remains mandatory.
