05 May The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reports 18.034 new infections, significantly more than the previous day (7.534). There were 285 corona deaths per day. The nationwide 7-day incidence dropped to 132.8. More than 24 million people in Germany have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

Since the start of the pandemic, 3,451,550 cases of the virus have been identified in Germany. This means that the number of cases in comparison with the previous day increased by 18,034 cases. In total, 83,876 people have died as a result of the Covid-19 disease since the start of the pandemic.
